NET PROFIT OF STELLANTIS CONCERN IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR INCREASED 11 TIMES



 

Stellantis' net profit in the first half of the year increased 11 times to 6.78 billion euros

The net profit of the French automobile concerns Stellantis (formerly Fiat and PSA) because shareholders in the first half of 2021 increased by over 11 times compared to the same period last year and amounted to 6.78 billion euros, the company said in a press release. ...

 

Diluted earnings per share in the reporting period were 2.11 euros against 0.63 euros a year earlier. Revenue for the reporting period increased almost 3 times - up to 72.6 billion euros.

 

Joseph Marc Blumenthal expects the company to note that no further deterioration in semiconductor supplies and no further significant restrictions in Europe and the United States.

 

In addition, on the back of strong financial results, the company raised its annual target for adjusted operating profit margin to about 10%.

 

Stellantis is a combined company of PSA Group (Peugeot-Citroen) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). The merger was closed in January 2021.
